Worked firstly as an apprentice carpenter, self-taught, Peter lives in Vorarlberg, Austria. he started photography as a result of his love for mountains. He became a freelance photographer in 1986 and has contributed to numerous sport specialist magazines. In 1992 he released his first book "Snowboard fascination" followed by more than dozen others, about landscapes and one about "La photographie de montagne". In 2000, he won the Crystal awards and the first prize at the "Banff mountain photography competition" in the adventure category.
