Debra Kellner

originally from Canada, Debra, after studying Economics started a career in the stock exchange. Interested by oriental languages, she currently spends her life between Paris, Canada and Asia. In 1990 she became a reporter photographer, traveling in India, Nepal and China and working with the international press. Since 1994 her work has focused on Indian women. She has made several documentaries ond exhibitions on this subject. Partner of Eric Valli, she tooks photos during the 32 weeks of the filming of "Himalaya, l'enfance d'un chef" from which she made a book.
