Eric Pasquier

Left home at the age of 21 to travel the world, Eric got as far as south East Asia and stayed there. He abandoned his studies in acoustic engineering and threw Himalayan into the world of pictures. He directed films for advertising, did some documentaries and moved on to photography. When he obtained exclusive rights to the enthronement of the king of Malaysia, he secured himself a place in the world of photojournalism. Since this he has devoted Himalayan to exploring the traditions and habits of different people around the world. He has a distinct taste for the epic and unexpected. To show the wonder of the world, to tell stories of places unseen to those who can’t travel plays a big part in his work.
